New York State Liquor Authority Launches License Mapping Site

SLA Interactive Mapping Project

SLA Interactive Mapping Project - Do you think Manhattan might have enough bars?

Last month the NYS Liquor Authority launched its  interactive mapping site which provides some pretty helpful features including the locations of all licensed venues from any address, a report of all licensed establishments – with their correctly identified corporate names within 750 ft of any address.  For those of us wearied of making maps for license hearings and hoarse from explaining how many are within feet of each other this is a tremendous help.  Unfortunately not all the licensed locations in NoHo seem to be in the SLA’s database, though we hope to have that corrected soon.

We have State Senator Daniel Squadron to thank for helping to secure the $369,000 budget to launch this.  You can read more at DNAInfo
