- Bond St. Repairs 2008
In early December it was confirmed that a DOT crew is currently scheduled to do a restoration of the travelling section of the road bed this spring. 41-43 Bond should be pretty much finished with their heavy work by then.
A complete replacement of the roadbed (with Belgian block) would require a capital budget request. Monies set aside by Councilman Gerson for a capital investment on Bond St. can only be used for this purpose. Such a request will have to be made through the Community Board (and perhaps guided by others) and would not result in actual replacement before 2015. We can initiate the process for a complete replacement for the coming budget requests year, this spring.
