Fashions Night Out needs a little dress-up
The issue for NoHo in the Street Activities arena is that the Street Activities Permitting Office (SAPO) is more regularly granting or suggesting NoHo streets for these activities. Coupled with the new “Special Event” permit which does not require ANY community review or approval…or even modification (you may recall NoHo Design Week and Fashion’s Night Out – both of which were entirely unregulated) these third-party uses of our streets become an issue for residents and retailers, alike.
