Alec Baldwin Commemorated Mulberry Plaque Dedication Sept 18th at The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral
This year upper Mulberry Street revealed the old neighborhood of Little Italy in a special installation, while The Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral (http://oldcathedral.org/) the city’s first Cathedral Church celebrated their 200th anniversary with Two Bridges Neighborhood Council (http://www.twobridges.org/) serving residential, commercial, Manhattan cultural life during the Feast of San Gennaro.
On September 18th @6:00pm Alec Baldwin officiated at a bronze plaque unveiling, celebrating with community leaders, the people and culture of Little Italy’s Mulberry Street. The plaque is designed by Richard Rinaldo, editor of Meatballs & Stickball.
“This innovative art exhibit and plaque illustrates the honor, hard work, love of family that has defined Mulberry street’s Little Italy for over a century,” comments Mark Bussell, Department of Photography-Imaging–Tisch School of the Arts NYU curator of Looking Back with Monsignor Donald Sakano and Two Bridges.
